2016’s Greenest States: Massachusetts is #3!

With Earth Day happening last Friday, it is exciting to find that Massachusetts is the 3rd Greenest State in the US according to 2016’s Greenest States.Only behind Vermont and Washington.

Beside that Massachusetts had the #1 Energy-Efficiency Score. Other ratings include:

10th – Air Quality
18th – Soil Quality
10th – Percentage of Recycled Municipal Solid Waste
9th – Number of LEED-Certified Buildings per Capita
15th – Gasoline Consumption per Capita
5th – Percentage of the Population Not Driving to Work
5th – Carbon Dioxide Emissions per Capita

It's good to know that we live in a state that is paying it forward to keep our Earth clean.
